Welcome to EAST BAY IANDS (Berkeley) Next Meeting: February 9, 2005, 7-9pm A panel discussion featuring four people who've had NDE's will highlight this month's meeting. Co-facilitator Kienda Valbracht will lead a discussion that will go beyond individual NDE accounts to identify similarities and differences in individual experiences, wisdom gained and lessons learned. This is a special opportunity to ask a group of NDErs about their experiences, so bring your questions! The East Bay IANDS group meets in the comfortable Unity of Berkeley, at 2075 Eunice Street in Berkeley, from 7-9 PM on the second Wednesday of each month. A $5 donation is requested to cover expenses; nobody turned away. You are encouraged to bring refreshments to share! We are committed to the IANDS goals of (1) encouraging thoughtful exploration of all facets of the NDE, (2) providing reliable information about such experiences to experiencers, caregivers, researchers and the public; and (3) providing emotional and psychological support of individuals who’ve had a NDE. We welcome experiencers and non-experiencers alike. IANDS-East Bay provides a safe, friendly place for people who’ve had NDEs or other spiritual experiences to meet and talk, and allows others to hear and make use of this wisdom in their lives. There is usually a speaker or a panel each month, with time to mingle and discuss NDE's with those who've had them. Directions to Unity of Berkeley, 2075 Eunice Street: From the I-80 freeway (from either direction): Take the UNIVERSITY AVENUE exit east toward the University of California 1.9 miles. Turn left on SHATTUCK AVENUE 0.8 miles. Stay straight to go onto SHATTUCK PLACE 0.1 miles. SHATTUCK PLACE becomes HENRY STREET 0.2 miles. Turn right onto EUNICE STREET. Unity of Berkeley is in the first block on the left side of the street. There is parking behind the building as well as on the street. Public Transportation: From the downtown Berkeley Bart Station, take the "43 El Cerrito" bus, which will take you to the corner of Eunice and Henry.
